Goliath

The stars are armed. Goliath, the point is annihilation. In so much devotion to my wounds, do I return to you. By weeping vespers, baptized from sunset’s burning terrors, I rise to witness the galleries of stars. A carnage of lost monarchs below the carrion moons. Yes the darkness has gravity but I’d still choose to sink with you. Hidden by night like the lidded eyes of deities—it was as if I arrived fleshless into a dream’s dark branches. L’exilée in the winds of twilight. My body, a surviving ruin, cigarettes burning sigils at my fingertips stained vermillion from living, forget-me-nots of the flesh, years of screams and tears trapped in my throat. Every week, seven everlasting evenings. Witness these beasts in the belvedere. In pursuit of Paradise do I desire. In your arms, a reckless radiance. The bells of vespertine are ringing. Jewels of shrapnel lay fallen across the aftermath Earth. I’m dreaming, I’m dreaming. The winds arrive like skinning knives. I drown in the worlds borrowed sorrows. Such sweet beckoning from my flesh. Voyager of verdant Eden, the point is annihilation. In your eyes, I witnessed blessed eternities. At the dark gates of galaxies, I waited for salvation from yearning. Every week, seven everlasting evenings. My cowardice will bring me to a silent extinction. This grace of shattering with need! Desire between my teeth. Desire burned new desolations in me. Eat at that vast altar in search of graces, seek the stations of horizons, my Maimed Madonna, bridegroom of Belladonna. Harvested by red-eyed pyres, when the skies are defiant fires, by the birds choir of morning, all the worlds are rolling beyond me. I wither from grief but for when the beloved speaks. Oh brilliant eternity! How I wish I could rise to a different life. Goliath of desire, you deliver me to annihilation, and I kneel for mercy.
