I gaze into you—your visage is like the darkness. Witness this wilderness you birthed. I imagine my wrists bleeding light in the night. annihilation, i wake again. I call this half-life survival. Watch the fates feast. These ages of captivity desecrate me. I was divine before desire invaded me. Baptized by blushing sunrise, I am alive, I am alive. my gorgon— in your gaze, I am frozen.
