Auburn Sunset

This world destroys me. The wreckage! of desire! Auburn sunset in the west. I do not forgive and I do not forget. It was a forbidding fire against my fragile flesh. I’m sinking in the high tides of life, I’m going nowhere, I’m going nowhere but down. The glories! of this brokenness! I’m rich in desire and grief, I’m a beggar on my knees. You visit me like a divinity, ambrosia at your lips. Let me go then to the shores of God. Sunset is a red funeral in the grave of days. Will you await me in that wasteland? My beloved, drown me at the shores of god: I need to lose my body. Like the fires of sunset, Desire burned a red devastation in me. The adamantine galaxies witnessed me in ecstasy.
