Nowhere Below the Moon
Our world is overcome with wounds. The reckoning of souls, I went out hunting blue moons. Save me, save me, on my knees like a slave of Heaven, I pleaded for mercy. The void of the divine. Sleep deep in me. Desire burned like devastation in me — it was chained to me —it was a salvation of radiance to me. The darkness dreams of Eden. Lusting after light while sinking from the gravity of Being. I seek flight in the kingdom of winds. Like the divine, you were a veiled violence. The moon suffocates in cloud tombs. I must stop being myself but it feels impossible to be anything else. This fire in my skin, on the brink of Being, the infinite takes possession of me. Everywhere is nowhere without you. I knew we would be corpses soon, so I went out hunting the blue moons.
Sweet insomnia under the streetlights. Deliver me to vaster desires. It’s world and wound, so I went out hunting the blue moons.
