Slaughterhouse
In the wild tides of twilight I realized, I realized, the vastness of my desires—
From the wound a world rose. Belladonna on my tongue, laudanum numbing my lungs, rose thorns in my throat. Sprawled in the grasses of Paradise, a viper in the evening witnessed me in ecstasy. That devil desire quivers to visit me. Revelation bells are screaming in the vespertine. Pietà in petals of flames. Yes. My life in eternal ellipsis, I witnessed the infinite in a killing stillness. Blessed Desire, I live in your Bloodless oblivion, abolish me. Eros consumes me. Our necromantic moon is blooming in its midnight morgue. My body become a banquet of blossoming bones. Creature of Lethe, I came to the desolation of bone harbors and said dare to regard me for I am your decadent daughter. Desire burned its devastations in me, and I rejoice that I was worth destroying. Who am I in the vanity of the dark? The slaughter of darkness regarded me like I was its daughter of victory. Speak Eve, my winged guardian grief. The weeping earth said drink my vale of tears and so I drink. I witnessed your majesties, and I kneeled for mercy. The brutality! of being! Too many terrors devoured me. Scarlet skies of August sunrise brimming with fertile fires. By morning’s aurora, I awakened a slave in the chains of desire. Daybreak in a desperate act of prayer I swallow blades— and I await salvations—
Desire waged a war of vengeance in me. I want to bury my head in the marshes of dream. This existence is serenading ash I outlast my annihilations flesh in the raiment of flies yes the vastness! of my desire! exhilarates me! In the throat of the abyss, I witnessed the infinite.
